He wants His army to be Armed and Dangerous because we are taking souls back from the enemy's camp! God wants His army to start practicing using the weapons He has given us so we can become skillful in their use and march into battle taking ground-advancing for the Kingdom of God-rescuing souls.
Many have not been using the weapons at all because of not knowing what they are or simply not putting them on, leaving themselves vulnerable. Many people have forgotten how to use their offensive weapons or simply never knew they had them and have strictly been on defense, trying to protect themselves from the attack of the enemy. God has given us defensive weapons and offensive weapons, which Apostle Paul listed for us in Ephesians 6. military for example no the war we are fighting is a spiritual war so our weapons must be spiritual weapons.Įphesians 6:12, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." We are at war against the devil and his army FOR people's souls.Įvery battle requires the right weapon for the right fight. The war we are fighting in not a natural war with natural weapons like a soldier would use in the U.S. God in His goodness has made sure to equip His army with an arsenal of weapons to with the war with. God has declared war against the kingdom of darkness and as His soldiers we are to march forward and rescue the souls that have been held captive by the enemy and his influence.
